Meet Our Team

Elizabeth Zeng

Washington University of St. Louis'24

Elizabeth is a freshman in Washington University of St. Louis’s Beyond Boundaries Program. In high school, she received a 36 on the ACT and 11 on the essay writing as well as 800 in SAT Biology Molecular Subject Test and 5 in AP Biology. She was nominated for the US presidential scholars program in 2020. When she’s not taking online classes, Elizabeth enjoys cooking, reading manga and science articles.

Emily Du

Duke University'24

Emily is a freshman at Duke University studying computer science and biology. In high school, she received a 1590 on the SAT, as well as full marks on the SAT Math II subject test, SAT Biology subject test, AP Statistics, AP Computer Science, and IB Biology Higher Level. She was selected as an official 2020 US Presidential Scholar from thousands of nominees, receiving national recognition and news coverage. To relax, Emily likes to read, write and attend writing Masterclasses with her writer’s guild.

Carnegie Mellon University'24

Christina is a freshman at Carnegie Mellon University studying computer science. In high school, she received 5s on AP Calculus AB & BC, AP Computer Science A, 7 on IB Mathematics HL, and 800 on SAT 2 Math Level 2 test. She also qualified for AIME and Math Prize for Girls and attended the Hampshire College Summer Studies in Mathematics. In her free time, she enjoys watching dramas and playing cards.

Crystal Wang

Emory University'24

Crystal is a freshman at Emory University studying Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. In high school, she received a 1550 on the SAT as well as an 800 in both the Math II and Biology Molecular SAT Subject Tests. She has been on the national team for table tennis for the past 8 years and competes on behalf of Team USA internationally. In her free time, she enjoys baking and watching Grey’s Anatomy.

"This class was great! Covering 4 subjects (plus essay) worth of material is a lot, and I understood and retained almost all of that information. Elizabeth’s teaching was great and since it was a small group, we were able to keep it fairly causal, personal, and honest when we needed to. Essay writing seemed to be my sore spot, so I fell behind a few times, but practicing writing will help. I would recommend this class to others interested in taking the ACT, although it is a lot of information and the mock tests can be exhausting."
