Cover areas of weakness (i.e. trigonometry, matrixes, conic sections, etc.)
Discuss ACT’s types of passages and questions; tricks to passage reading and how to approach the reading “ISpy” game.
Break down question types and graph reading tips and tricks; strategies on overall approach to science section.
Learn the argumentative essay format, tricks to writing an effective introduction and conclusion; practice planning essay.
After completing a second full-length diagnostic test, review answers then evaluate and revise areas needing improvement.
Address student’s weaknesses in rhetoric skills (i.e. idea organization, concision, writing logic, etc.); strategies of pacing, when to change an answer.
Process of elimination and pacing; review areas of weakness through practice questions.
Practice pacing and process of elimination, how to approach inference/implication and development/function questions.
Cover weaknesses in science knowledge; review scientific skills and practice pacing strategies.
Tips on pacing, essay organization, and standing out; practice writing an essay.
Final diagnostic test! Review answers and fill in any remaining gaps of understanding.
